At All Saints Awbridge our aim is to discover together what it means to be followers of Jesus Christ and to help others to experience God’s love for them. Our church is always available for you and your family to use.

Our normal monthly pattern of services at All Saints Awbridge:

1st and 3rd Sundays: 9.30am Holy Communion
2nd Sunday: 9.00am Family Breakfast Service at Awbridge Village Hall
4th Sunday: 9.30am Morning Worship
5th Sunday: Often a Holy Communion service at one of the churches in the benefice – please visit our church website awbridge.church for details

There is usually a contemporary style Informal Service with a worship band on the 1st Sunday of the month, at 7.00pm.

You are warmly invited to join us at any of our services which are always followed by freshly brewed Fair Trade coffee and tea plus a chance to chat!

House Group: This usually meets weekly on Tuesdays at 7.00 pm at Chanwel House Romsey Rd Awbridge. Contact: Fred Tucker 01794 340709, chanwel@yahoo.co.uk.

Prayer Group: On first and third Tuesday mornings at 8.45am in the church rooms. Contact: Jane West 01794 523286.

Coffee Hub: A friendly atmosphere, open to all, every Tuesday at 9.15am in the church rooms, delicious cakes & pastries with Fairtrade tea & coffee.

Lunch Club: This meets for a light lunch, twice a month, in the church rooms, 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, at 12 noon, transport available. Meets with Neighbourcare for lunch in the village hall quarterly. Contact: Sarah Keith 01794 340707.

Craft and Chat: Meets fortnightly on Friday at Awbridge village Hall from 10.00 – 12.00noon. Contact: Sue Franklin 01794 322185.

The Ark Toddler Group: is run by members of All Saints Awbridge and meets Friday mornings 9.30 – 11.00am during term-time at Awbridge Village Hall. A large range of interactive toys are available plus activities including craft and singing. Refreshments are provided for children and adults. £2.50 per session for 1 adult and 1 child and 50p per additional child. Contact: Lynda Tucker 01794 340709, chanwel@yahoo.co.uk.

Social and other events: Other events such as a Harvest lunch, country walks, BBQ and quiz evenings are also organised by the church. Please visit our website for details. Regular support is also given to charities including Southampton Food Bank and SCRATCH.

History

All Saints, Awbridge is a Grade II listed building, designed by J. Colson and completed in 1876, built on land once owned by Awbridge Danes, In 1992, an annex including meeting rooms, a kitchen and toilet facilities was added. The team at the church are planning a refurbishment programme ready to celebrate our 150th anniversary in 2026.
