At Awbridge Church, our aim is to discover together what it means to be followers of Jesus Christ and to help others to experience God’s love for them. Our church is always available for you and your family to use.

Church2All Saints, Awbridge is a Grade II listed building, designed by J. Colson and completed in 1876, built on land once owned by Awbridge Danes,  in 1990, an annex including meeting rooms,  kitchen and toilet areas was added.

Normal pattern of monthly services at All Saints Awbridge:

1st and 3rd Sundays: 9 30 am Holy Communion
2nd Sunday: 9 30 am Morning Worship and Young Church
4th Sunday: 9 30 am Family Worship
5th Sunday: a united benefice Holy Communion service at one of the churches in the benefice or as stated in Awbridge News.

In addition to these, we have introduced a Worship and Praise Service called “First” on the 1st  Sunday of the month, at 6 30 pm.  This is an informal service with a guest speaker and music group.

House Group: this meets once a month to study the Bible, third Tuesday, 7 45 pm in someone’s home. CONTACT: John Twigg 01794 521966

“Open House” Group: this meets twice a month on Thursdays, 7 45 pm in someone’s home to discuss Christianity and what it means today.

Prayer Group: meets twice a month, first and third Thursday, for prayer concerning individuals, the community and wider issues.

Lunch Club: this meets for a light lunch, twice a month, in the church rooms, 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, at 12 noon, transport available. Meets with Neighbourcare for lunch in village hall quarterly.

Young Church: members of the congregation under 12 years take part in activities, during morning worship services. When Family Worship takes place everyone worships together. Activities include art, craft, drama, music, readings etc. Other social and craft events are also organised (e.g. Messy Church sessions).

Church4Social and other events: other events such as a Harvest lunch, Nativity in the Barns, country walks, BBQ and quiz evenings are also organised by church members.  Regular support is also given to charities including Samaritan’s Purse and SCRATCH.

Awbridge Neighbourcare: If you need help with transport or other good neighbourly tasks please ring your local co-ordinator on 0845 094 6155. Joint lunches with the Church Lunch Club are organised in the village hall.

The “Ark” Toddler Group: is run by members of All Saints Awbridge and meets Friday mornings 9 30 am – 11 00 am during term-time at Awbridge Village Hall. A large range of interactive toys are available plus activities including craft and singing. Refreshments provided for children and adults. £1.50 per session for 1 adult and up to 2 siblings.
